Shoulder Pain

There are many conditions that can cause our shoulders to start hurting. Some common conditions include sprains, strains rotator cuff injury, frozen shoulder, bursitis, and dislocations. Our shoulder is naturally an unstable joint, being a very shallow joint with the clavicle being the only bone that connects the arm to our body. With its tendency to drop downward and rotate internally, this typically results in pain, a restricted range of motion and places undue stress on the soft tissue surrounding the shoulder joint. The result is tendonitis or bursitis of the shoulder and muscle weakness in the shoulder area. The realignment of the shoulder joint, and physical therapeutics including ultrasound and electrical stimulation, can give you back your range of motion and relieve pain in the shoulder.
